SAW fluxes
by: naddir patel

Dear Indra,
SAW fluxes by nature are granulated.
Even steel refining fluxes which are sometimes powder form; are now being offered mainly in granular form because of the superior operating characteristics.
If uniformity & consistency is a requirement for the process, a fused flux is necessary.
Indian industry consumes roughly 2500MT of flux for various applications/annum.
Prices depend on the type of flux & can range from $800/MT to $3000/MT.
If you can advise your application, I can be more specific.
Regards
